What to Expect After Your Photo Session

After your photo session, you can sit back and relax while I get to work perfecting your images.

1. Images are loaded & backed up to my computer and drives.

First, I take my camera back home where I export the photos onto my computer right away. I then go through each photo, one by one, and delete any blinks, eyes-closed, and missed focus images. I save all of the good images and place them in a special folder with your name on it.

2. Images are edited & fine tuned.

I then edit all of those photos that I have saved for you. I use my artistic judgement to determine which photos I will edit in color, and which I will edit in black and white. You will receive all of the photos in your gallery in color, because that is what I love the very most and gravitate towards. But you may receive a few select photos in black and white as well.

I edit and deliver all of the photos that turned out from the session because I believe if it’s a good photo, why NOT deliver it? I don’t want to hang on to any photos that you may end up treasuring and adoring! Because of this, my galleries are typically larger than quoted on my pricing guide. You can always expect variety, and a great amount of high quality photos when you book me as your photographer.

3. Your personalized photo gallery is ready within 3 weeks.

My turnaround time is about 2-3 weeks from the session date.  I know you are so excited to see and share your images. And I know how important they are to you! I do spend a large amount of time editing, fine tuning, and making sure each and every image is perfect before it is delivered to you. And I deliver A LOT of photos. This process can take many hours, but I am always striving to be as efficient as possible. Please be patient during the editing process, I promise it’s worth the extra time spent perfecting the details.

4. Your gallery is emailed out to you!

Once all images are edited, they are uploaded to an online, personalized gallery just for you. This digital gallery makes it easy to view, download, and share your images with just the click of a button or two. I do not deliver images via CDs or flash drives due to the risk of those getting lost or damaged. The online gallery ensures your images are delivered safely and that you will be able to access them right away.

It’s very important that once you receive your images, that you download them and save them to your computer or mobile device. I highly recommend that you also backup your images to a cloud service such as Dropbox or Google Drive. This way if something happens to your computer or mobile device, the images aren’t lost and are still accessible. I am not able to store client images forever in the photo galleries I deliver due to storage space, so downloading your images is extremely important.

5. You can then save, share, enjoy, and print your images how, where, and when you please!
