WHO IS BEHIND ALL THIS?

Have you ever had an instance in time where you wish you could freeze everything, and remember and live in that memory forever? Our journey in this world is full of these moments, and these treasures is what I live for!  One of my greatest joys is capturing life with my camera and for others. Life is just too short to lose our sweet memories. Some moments deserve to be lived over and over again.

I have a very sweet husband and I am a mother to a witty 5 year old boy and a sweet baby girl.  We fought a very difficult infertility battle with a lot of loss and heartache to get our daughter.  She is our IVF rainbow baby. 

Photography and documenting life’s moments is my passion! I love capturing the beautiful, the laughter, the tears, the raw and the real. My favorite part about my job is meeting new people and making new connections. Connections bring us together and connecting with others makes me feel like a part of something bigger than myself. When I’m not out exploring and getting crafty with my camera, you can find me cuddled up at home with my family or taking my babies on adventures!

When asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, “photographer” was never my answer. Not in my wildest dreams. I always thought I would be a scientist. That is one of my biggest passions after all! While going through school, I found my love for science, and I was a rockstar at it. I graduated from high school as a valedictorian and went off to college. 5 years later I graduated from Utah State with a double major in Biochemistry and Nutrition Science.

I worked for a couple of different science companies, and then had a beautiful baby boy! He is my inspiration. He’s my reason why. When he was born, I knew I didn’t want to miss a single moment of his life. I insisted on documenting everything! That’s when I bought my first DSLR, and I discovered another love and passion I never dreamed of. Photography found me. And I am so grateful! I never knew I’d be a girl who turned a $400 camera and hobby into a business where I get to serve so many amazing people and make amazing friendships, all while getting to be home with my family. Thank you for this journey.

I love doggy kisses and have two sweet dogs – and another one who is mischievous as heck.  But we still love him too.
