OGDEN UTAH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER | SOUTHERN STYLE BACKYARD WEDDING

There’s just something about tall, white pillars and a beautiful, green yard filled with trees and flowers that makes me think of the South. I absolutely love southern vibes, especially in the summer, and this backyard wedding shoot is full of sweet southern charm. The bride’s dress was handmade with lace and is exquisite. The cake table was truly original and was decorated with old books and candlesticks. It had so much character. The gold flaked grapes on the cake is what dreams are made of. Each bridesmaid wore a dress that fit her own individual style, but they all came together so perfectly! I love when bridesmaids wear dresses that are mismatched. It creates so much visual interest and is a fun spin on traditional weddings.

I love weddings. Every single detail. And my favorite thing about weddings is capturing genuine, raw moments. You know, the ones where the bride and groom are caught steeling glances at each other and giggling. The moment when laughter comes out so hard that everyone else in the room can’t help but laugh too. When grandma sees her granddaughter walking down the aisle and sheds that first tear. These moments are treasures! And they deserve to be remembered forever. I love that I am able to turn photographs into heirlooms that can be adored and passed down to future generations. It’s truly the best gift and I am so honored that I get to be a wedding photographer and work with amazing bride’s and grooms every single year!
